by incident if you restore the full screen view of remote desktop. you never come to full screen view.
you can try following
1. click on start
2. run
3. in run dilog box type "mstsc /v:x.x.x.x /f"
where x.x.x.x is IP you want to access
4. Click OK.
you wil be in full screen mode.
