So, I am leaving it up to you to decide whether it is good or bad. The site is: http://www.cuil.com/ and it looks something like this image:
The cuil is headed by some founder members and ex employees of google. They claim that they have the largest database of web pages and they provide results based on relevance of searched keyword, rather than their rank or popularity.
They also claim that they don't keep record of our searches on their server, thus enabling us privacy. I don't know how much they fair in their claim, but it they so, then this is a good feature, as even google keeps track our search habits and frequently share it with their partner advertisers.
The feature that impressed me much is that it gives us option to filter our search based on suggested categories. They also give ample text from the page to read and have idea about the suggested site. We get option to see 2 columns or 3 columns of search result in the page.
Their page layout is clean and they have given some good colors to their page, which makes them different from google.
